Since May, Beri! has been preparing for and promoting their first full-length concert which was to be held on October 8. The girls spent many months in vigorous rehearsals, right up until the day finally came. After spending hours in hair and makeup, the girls were ready to head down to their event. The concert drew a rather large crowd. The event began and the girls performed beautifully.
Unfortunately, however, due to a medical emergency involving one of the members, the concert had to be cut short. A small break replaced an MC in order to handle the situation. The girls stepped backstage and the tech crew provided the member with water and comfort. The member recovered promptly, for the most part, so medics were not called. But she still was not stable enough to continue with the second half of the show. The girls agreed to perform one last song and then end the concert. With much support from the audience, they finished strong.
Because of this, the full concert footage will not be released on Beri!’s youtube channel. Instead, a digest of the event will take its place. This video will be released on the same day as the concert would have been. The Road to Aki Con series will be released on schedule.
The identity of the member will remain withheld, as well as will the full setlist.
Rest assured that the member who suffered this emergency has already made a full recovery.
